ResumeTailor ("we", "us") is operated by Siyuan Zheng, an individual based in China. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use resume.stardottools.top (the "Service") and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: email address and password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase; we never see your raw password).
• Resume content: the resume text, job descriptions, and structured resume data (work history, education, skills) you submit or build using the editor.
• Uploaded files: if you upload a resume file, it is stored in our file storage (Cloudflare R2) so it can be parsed, then automatically deleted after 30 days.
• Payment information: we never see or store your card details. Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record, and its payment processor.
• Usage data: basic technical logs (timestamps, error logs) needed to operate and debug the Service.

2. How we use your information

• To generate resume analysis, tailored rewrites, translations, and interview prep using AI.
• To let you create, save, and edit resumes across sessions.
• To process payments and grant the credits or unlocks you purchased.
• To respond to support requests sent to support@stardottools.top.

3. Third-party processors

Your data is processed by the following service providers, solely to operate the Service:

• Supabase — account authentication and database storage.
• Cloudflare R2 — temporary file storage for uploaded resumes.
• Zhipu AI (BigModel) — AI processing of resume text and job descriptions to generate analysis and rewrites.
• Creem — payment processing and billing (merchant of record).
• Vercel — application hosting.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your resume content with anyone other than the processors listed above, and only as needed to provide the Service.

4. Data retention

Resumes and account data are retained for as long as your account is active. Raw uploaded files are deleted automatically 30 days after upload. You can delete individual resumes at any time from your dashboard, or request full account deletion by emailing support@stardottools.top.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@stardottools.top. We will respond within 3 business days.
